All personal mail from friends and family will be digitally delivered to the inmate via the tablets.  The address for inmate mail is P.O. Box 247 Phoenix, MD 21131 and address must be in following format:

Please note that the mail will be screened at a GTL facility and the actual physical mail will not be received at the Boyd County Detention Center.  You can also send a digital message to your friend or family member through the getting out mobile app.  Prohibited items in mail include:  Printed items from internet, revealing photos, photos relating to criminal activity, or any type of obscene materials.  Mail with attorney client privileges should still be mailed directly to the facility.  If you are sending a check or money order to place funds on commissary it should still be mailed directly to the facility, envelope should only have the check or money order. (No letter or other correspondence should be in the envelope with the check or money order.
